A specially commission anniversary present to celebrate ten years of the Live Art Development Agency (LADA). LADA commissioned ten artists to create a present for sale on Unbound, the Agency's online shop for Live Art books, DVDs and limited editions. I juggled with ideas of the saleable object in a live art context. If one were to distil a considerable sector of Eastern thought to one word it would be N O W, also a significant underlying notion in performance/live art. If one were to distil Western capitalist doctrine to one word it would be O W N. N O W and O W N have a distinctly uneasy relationship, ultimately N O W making ownership void. This thought led on to several other permutations, each having their own significance in this context 1 Edition of 10 framed triptych of the letters NOW, written in strawberries, 40.5cm x 40.5cm x 2.5cm, signed, titled and editioned on the back.
