For Yearnings, Anne did a performance for 6 women artists in the Scout Hut on the edge of Southwark Park. Totally undocumented and remembered only  as ,chemical trace'’ by each woman, they each re-performed their very different memory of the performance one year later on the same date, at the same time and in the same space. This performance was also purposefully left undocumented giving the possibility of a future re-performance.

Sand shifting
Sugar shifting
with z’ev

Silicon chips in a computer are mostly made of sand whilst glucose is the only fuel normally used by brain cells. Thus, z’ev and Anne engaged in 2 parallel activities for the year - shifting sand and sugar. Taking as a starting point a line from T.S. Eliot’s Burnt Norton :

Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is

They passed the line from person to person, language to language, through 43 translations.

zev’s computer translation ended :

I do I desire I go any I care not to be I air
except I go except who is I dance

Anne’s translation involving 48 people ended :

Though it’s not
maingate of Fairi air
it is not a dream neither
Escalation of conflicts results in true truth,
Finally the only prayer will be back to the starting point.

Which became the basis of a performance at the very end of REAP, using the luminescent words from the poem suspended on helium balloons and carried out into the park  and released into the night sky.

For Visitations, Anne placed heat sensitive paper under card, one for each month of the year. Visitors were invited to place lit pieces of incense on the card, thus recording their presence in the space. The words reformed into numerous new poems in the sky
