On return to the UK, ARTROLE invited participating UK artists to make presentations about our experiences in Kurdistan-Iraq and I made a performance installation at Toynbee Studios, London; Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Ferens Gallery, Hull with Adalet Garmiany, Richard Wilson and Chris Gladwin.
Many watches were recovered from the sites of people buried alive during the Kurdish genocides and displayed in a museum outside of Erbil, Kurdistan-Iraq. The unbearable synchronicity with disappearing heartbeats formed the basis for WATCH, both an installation and a performance.
